To actively prevent and control monkeypox disease, the General Department of Preventive Medicine under the Vietnamese Ministry of Health has requested medical units to strengthen surveillance and detect suspected cases at border gates, especially those returning from countries where monkeypox is endemic. When detecting suspected cases, people should immediately report to the Department of Health to coordinate with the Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology, Pasteur Institute to diagnose and confirm the case.
