The 18^th South Central Region and Highlands Artistic Photography Festival took place in Phu Yen Province’s Tuy Hoa City between 31 August and 2 September. 

Most notably, photographers from Da Nang were awarded 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 commendation medals plus a team prize and an award for the best photo of Phu Yen Province.  Furthermore, 22 works by Da Nang’s photographers were selected for display at the festival’s exhibition.

“Khoanh Khac TrenDuong Dua” (A Swimming Race Moment) by photographer Nguyen Cong Hung was awarded a gold medal

“Chot Mua” (A Sudden Rain) by Nguyen Van Thanh received a silver medal

“Cau Rong Dem” (The Dragon Bridge at Night) by Ho Xuan Bon received a commendation medal

“Mon Qua Bat Ngo” (An Unexpected Gift) by Nguyen Quang also received a commendation medal

“Buoi Sang Tren Dam O Loan” (An Early Morning at The O Loan Lagoon) by Ong Van Sinh won an award for the outstanding photo of Phu Yen Province
