DA NANG Today
Published: May 09, 2014

The Dien Bien Phu victory on 7 May 1954, which ended French colonial rule in Viet Nam, became the pride of the Vietnamese people and a symbol of their national strength.  Over the past 60 years, Dien Bien Phu City in Dien Bien Province has seen remarkable changes in its socio-economic development.   It now has a new appearance – a dynamic city full of vitality.

Here are some photos, selected from the “Dien Bien Phu City in the Present Day” album, which show the positive changes in the locality.  They were taken by reporter Nong Tien Dung from the Dien Bien Phu Newspaper.
