Nobody knows exactly when Vietnamese traditional markets first appeared or how many types, and how many in total, are now operating across the country.

A Vietnamese traditional market is not only a shopping venue but also a place showcasing the country’s cultural identity and therefore it is an attractive destination for tourists.  By visiting them, visitors gain the opportunity to immerse themselves in the busy trading activities and explore the special lifestyles of the Vietnamese people.

Da Nang Today would like to share with our readers some vivid photos of Vietnamese traditional markets, taken by a group from Da Nang Photo (DNP).  DNP is one of the popular pages on Facebook where photographers from Da Nang can share their feelings and experiences, as well as learn about new photographic techniques from each other.
