First-ever mural fishing village in Viet Nam

Over 100 old houses in a fishing village in Tam Thanh Commune in Quang Nam Province's Tam Ky City have been decorated with impressive vivid murals, all painted by South Korean artists and volunteers, plus some Vietnamese students.
The mural fishing village, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, was created during a Korea Foundation Community Art Exchange Programme which was funded by the Korea Foundation and UN-Habitat Viet Nam. The intention was to embellish the local living environment and bring art to the public.
