Nestled in Van Lam District’s Dai Dong Commune in Hung Yen Province, the over 200-year-old Nom ancient village boasts the special features of Viet Nam’s northern rural areas.
Despite its many ups and downs over the past 2 centuries, the village still retains numerous nostalgic buildings which together create an impressive, simple, charming and peaceful beauty.
Here are some photos of the ancient village. The photos were taken by Nguyen Van Thanh, a freelance photographer for DA NANG Today.
