A fair featuring high-quality Vietnamese goods and organic agricultural products opened on Thursday at Da Nang’s International Exhibition Fair Centre at 9 Cach Mang Thang Tam Street. The event will run until 19 December.

The 6-day fair is now featuring a total of over 450 stands from 200 businesses nationwide.  Of these, 130 businesses operate in Da Nang, whilst the remaining 70 come from Thai Nguyen, Tay Ninh, Quang Nam, Quang Tri, Binh Dinh, Lam Dong, Kon Tum, Can Tho, Tien Giang, An Giang and others. 

Of the total stands, 250 showcase high-quality Vietnamese consumer goods, whilst 60 with organic agricultural products meeting the Viet Nam Good Agricultural Practices (VietGap) standards, and the remainder with general daily usage products.

In his opening address, municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh remarked that the fair indeed helps to ensure a closer link between Da Nang and other Vietnamese localities to promote the increasingly competitive commercial value chain in order to satisfy the growing consumer demand.

Furthermore, such a meaningful event raises the public's awareness about increasing the consumption of high-quality Vietnamese goods in active response to the city’s implementation of the ‘Vietnamese People Give Priority to Using Vietnamese Goods’ campaign.
