Situated on Dien Bien Phu in Da Nang, the majestic Thanh Khe Valiant Mother Monument aims to honour Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nhu for her significant dedication to the nation’s independence and freedom.

The 12m-high statue of Mother Nhu was created by local sculptor Pham Van Hang for 6 months. It was inaugurated in 1985 to mark the 10th anniversary of the liberation of Da Nang (29 March 1975).

Nestled in alley No 748 on Tran Cao Van in Thanh Khe District’s Thanh Khe Dong Ward, the ‘Mother Nhu and 7 Thanh Khe Heroes’ historical site has welcomed a large number of visitors paying tribute to Mother Nhu and the 7 brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the pursuit of national reunification.
Nestled in alley No 748 on Tran Cao Van in Thanh Khe District’s Thanh Khe Dong Ward, the ‘Mother Nhu and 7 Thanh Khe Heroes’ historical site has welcomed a large number of visitors paying tribute to Mother Nhu and the 7 brave soldiers who laid down their lives in the pursuit of national reunification.
Over recent years, the site has become a popular destination for the education of local residents, especially the younger generations, about patriotism.

Currently on display at the house are numerous artifacts relating to Mother Nhu and the 7 Thanh Khe heroes. This image features porcelain bowls which Mother Nhu served rice for Thanh Khe heroes.
