Fascinating hot air balloon fest woos enthusiasts
The Da Nang International Hot Air Balloon Festival is taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday at the East Sea Park, with the participation of 15 pilots in total from Viet Nam, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, and the Netherlands.

This event is within the framework of the ongoing 6-day Da Nang Beach Tourism Season programme launched by the municipal Management Board of the Son Tra Peninsula and Tourism Beaches.

Under the event’s schedules, a total of 7 eye-catching rainbow-coloured hot air balloons fly in the sky from 6.30am – 8.30am, and from 4.30pm to 6.30pm daily, depending on the wind directions.
In detail, there are 3 special hot air balloons featuring the shapes of a chickens, an octopus and a heart, 2 large-sized ones catering for the flight service, and 2 mini ones for local residents and visitors to take photos.

In particular, in the evening, some of the hot air balloons squirt fire in the duration of 15 -20 minutes.
In addition, locals and visitors can enjoy fascinating hot air balloon rides at the height of 30-50m.
