On the fourth night of the ongoing Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2019 (DIFF) on Saturday, 22 June, the fireworks performance by Team UK was followed by Hunan Jingtai Fireworks Co Ltd from China.

Despite competing in this international event for the first time, Hunan Jingtai Fireworks Co Ltd is considered as one of strong rivals at DIFF 2019.

The main reason is thought that the Hunan Jingtai Fireworks Co Ltd is a leading fireworks company in China, and it boasts a history of 30 years. Meanwhile, the Chinese team are famous for manufacturing fireworks and producing high-class fireworks displays.

Tonight, the team treated the pyrotechnic fans with their wonderful show with its unique combination of lights, fireworks, and Spanish and Chinese classical music.

They turned the city’s sky into a river of lighting in the story told by arts, dances and the perfect combination of fireworks and many different effects and colours.

Entitled ‘Kun - The Happy Excursion’, their show told the audience about the happy excursion made by Kun-a very huge fish. The Kun turns into a bird called Peng. When it vibrates its wings and rises straight, the wings are like clouds hanging in the sky. When on a voyage, this bird starts for the southern ocean, the celestial lake, and in the records of marvels. The water is smitten for a space of 3 thousands of miles around, whilst the bird itself mounts upon a great wind to a height of 90 thousands of miles for a flight of 6 months’ duration.

The performance was divided into 8 chapters conveying messages of wind, clouds, flying dragons, dancing phoenix, rainbow, jasmine, Hoang Ha River, joy and blessing. Each chapter featured different colours of fireworks and emotional tones.

A total of more than 10,000 fireworks in different shapes, sizes and types were utilised by the Chinese team, the highest number ever recorded at DIFF 2019.
