The charm of sunflowers grown at the Tam An Farm located at Phu Son Nam Village, Hoa Khuong Commune, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang, specialising in organic fruit, vegetables and other agricultural products, has attracted a great deal of attention from locals and visitors. Not only does the growing of this type of flowers help to cope with harmful insects, but it also creates an attractive relaxing space for visitors.

According to Mr Nguyen Huu Thinh, the Director of the Tam An Farm Co., Ltd., the creation of the sunflower garden initially helps to protect fruit and vegetables from harmful insects.

The image of the eye-catching sunflower garden has gone on rival on social networks in recent times, inspiring a growing number of locals and visitors to come here. Mr Thinh has decided to turn this sunflower garden into an ideal place for those who like enjoying relaxing moments and taking photos with the blooms. The venue receives an average of 500 visitors per day.

Young people from Da Nang and the neighbouring province of Quang Nam like taking photos with the blooms.

According to Mr Thinh, the growing of sunflowers contributes to balancing the ecosystem in the local agricultural cultivation areas because it can reduce the insect damage to crops here.

Aside from the highly inviting sunflower garden, fruit and vegetable growing areas, covering a total area of nearly 4 ha at the Tam An Farm, are also much favoured by many visitors.

Since its inception in 2014, the Tam An Farm has maintained its stable operation, ensuring clean agricultural products for consumption in Da Nang.
