As many as 1,360 people are receiving inpatient treatment in the Da Nang General Hospital, down by 50% compared with normal days.

Amid coronavirus pandemic, the hospital is taking effective measures to reduce the risk of transmission of the virus. 

Instructions for patients who have symptoms of coronavirus such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, runny nose, and sore throat, and those who have been in contact with  suspected coronavirus cases go to the hospital for medical check-ups.

This notice explains the new rules for visitors and patient's carers in order to protect patients and hospital staff from the virus.

Only one caregiver is allowed per patient and is required to remain in the hospital. Restrictions are also placed on moving out of hospital from caregivers except in certain circumstances.

Before entering the hospital, caregivers will undergo temperature screening, and complete a health declaration on their current health status.

People who go to the hospital for medical check-ups will have their temperature taken

Also, they are required to fill in health declaration forms.

After completing mandatory health declaration, visitors will be issued dated wristband hospital passes

Screens for searching and storing medical declaration information are already installed at the entrance gates to the Da Nang General Hospital and the Cardiovascular Centre.

Visitors are required to keep space around each other at the healthcare waiting area in the hospital

Hospital beds are placed at a safe distance to limit the virus spread
