Developed on the build-transfer (BT) basis, the 4-lane La Son-Tuy Loan expressway is part of the 3,183 km-long Ho Chi Minh Highway which runs through 28 Vietnamese localities.

Stretching a total of 77.6 km, the route begins at the La Son T-junction, Phu Loc District, Thua Thien-Hue Province, and ends at the intersection with the Da Nang-Quang Ngai Expressway in Tuy Loan Village, Hoa Vang District, Da Nang.

The project costs over 11 trillion VND which is loaned by the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ (BTMU) which is Japan’s largest bank.

Mr Nguyen Minh Khanh from the Ho Chi Minh Road Management Board said main items of the La Son-Hoa Lien section has been basically completed. Meanwhile, the Hoa Lien-Tuy Loan section is seeking approval from the Prime Minister for its adjustments.

Here are amazing photos from the La Son-Tuy Loan expressway, which captured by our reporter Xuan Son.
