The ring road linking Hoa Phuoc with Hoa Khuong communes in Da Nang’s Hoa Vang District officially opened to traffic in May 2019.

The southern ring road plays an important role in facilitating the travel demands of residents between southern localities, coastal areas on the eastern side of the city and the city centre. It helps encourage even more residents to move into new southern urban areas in an effort to reduce vehicle numbers in some inner-city areas, and fully tap the great potential of the East-West Economic Corridor.

The 6,965m-long and 41m-wide ring road is part of the southern ring road which connects the 1A Highway with 14B Highway.

The starting point of the ring road intersects with the 1A Highway and Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street.

The ending point of the ring road intersects with the 14B Highway.

Lighting systems have been already installed along the ring road

The 340m-long Qua Giang and the 420m-long Song Yen bridges are part of the ring road linking Hoa Phuoc with Hoa Khuong communes.

The ring road intersects with the upgraded DT605 road in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Tien Commune.

The ring road has helped shorten the distance from the 1A Highway to Hoa Khuong Commune.

The installation of lighting systems and traffic signs along the ring road has been already completed.
