As compared to recent years, amid the impacts of COVID-19 pandemic and hash weather conditions, this year’s street decorations are being conducted in a more economical manner but they are not be less eye-catching and impressive than those installed in previous years, showcasing harmonious combination of natural, traditional, and modern elements.

Major downtown streets in Da Nang are being festooned with strings of illuminative lights and ornamental decorations dangling between the stately trees that line the thoroughfare casting a soft Tet holiday glow.

Major streets are being adorned with Vietnamese national flags, banners, panels, floral and lighting decorations, creating a vibrant vibe, and helping the city look fresh and vibrant at Tet, and especially coinciding with the time the city is celebrating the 13th Viet Nam's National Party Congress and the 91st founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam.

With regard for floral displays, colourful flower towers and pots are being placed at 15 locations across the city at a total cost of about 10 billion VND.

The creation of highly impressive floral decorations along the Bach Dang spring flower street, along the west bank of the Han River, is progressing well. This inviting place is scheduled to open to the public on 9 February and close on 21 February, aiming to enthrall local inhabitants and tourists at the forthcoming Tet festival.

As the 2021 Lunar New Year ushers in the Year of the Buffalo, some of the venues will be enlivened with floral miniature scenes featuring the image of this lovely zodiacal animal, and showcase the beauty of the landscape, traditional culture and people of Viet Nam.

Flowers chosen to decorate major streets are suitable for Da Nang's climatic conditions.
