Photographer Nguyen Huu Thanh is a war-veteran who was seriously injured in Thua Thien Hue battlefield for national reunification in 1975. His passion for photography began in 1995, and in 2009, he became a member of the Viet Nam Association of Photographic Artist. His photo collection has won many domestic and international awards, contributed to promoting Viet Nam’s image among international friends.

The village, currently in Hoa Hau Commune, Ly Nhan District, Ha Nam Province is dubbed as the cradle of many precious products, including the signature dish of braised fish. This village is closely associated with Nam Cao's classic short story ‘Chi Pheo’. |

Here is the charming beauty of waterlogged terraces. Compared to the rice harvest season during which terraces shine a golden yellow, the waterlogged ones are no less stunning as they vividly reflect the bright summer sun. Farmers flood the fields soon after the first summer rains and start transplanting rice seedlings for the new crop. |
