On Wednesday morning, staff of the Son Tra District Medical Centre took a combined throat and nose swab of close to 500 people who are stall holders in Phuoc My traditional market and nearby residents to test for COVID – 19.
The move came as the latest COVID-19 infected woman in the city had visited this place before receiving a positive result.
People were required to wear a face mask, disinfect their hands, and keep a safe distance from others while in line to get coronavirus tests.
They were also asked to stay at home while waiting for their test results, and they are told to get their test results within today, May 5.
After finishing the collection of swabs for COVID-19 testing, medical workers from the Son Tra District Medical Centre conducted cleaning and disinfection in this market and its surround areas.
