Da Nang locals obey face mask rule, limit gatherings on first day of beach swimming resumption

Since the Da Nang People's Committee approved the resumption of outdoor swimming activities across the city at 0:00am on July 10, visitors and local residents have come to beaches for swimming, relaxing and enjoying fresh air.

As observed by the DA NANG Newspaper reporters on Saturday morning, all of the beach-goers strictly complied with mandatory safety measures against the deadly virus, including wearing face masks before and after swimming, only taking off masks whilst swimming, keeping a distance of at least 1m from others, avoiding spending time in crowded places or in groups during their strolls and physical activities on beaches. They didnot gather in large numbers for fun and snacks.

From 5:00am on Saturday, beaches across the city started welcoming visitors and locals aback after many days of being deserted under the swimming ban.
