Da Nang volunteers offer active assistance to candidates during national high school graduation exam 2021

In response to the 2021 Giving Strength to Exam Season campaign, as many as 800 student volunteers across Da Nang on Thursday made themselves available to candidates who are sitting the first phase of the ongoing national senior high school exit exams.

Representatives from the Da Nang Youth Union- the Da Nang chapter of the Viet Nam Students’ Association visited 21 candidates who are Co Tu ethnic minority people living in the boarding area at the Pham Phu Thu Senior High School in Hoa Son Commune, Hoa Vang District on July 7. Each test taker was supported with 1 barrel of water, ballpoint pens, face masks, hand sanitizer solutions and cash. The total value of the gifts is VND10 million. |

The 2021 Giving Strength to Exam Season campaign’s participants are partnering with the local authorities, medical and educational facilities to proactively implement COVID-19 prevention and control at exam venues, and organise the transport of candidates with special circumstances and present pens, erasers, drinking water and other items as small gifts to candidates. |

The Da Nang Youth Union, the municipal Students’ Association and the Angel Heart volunteer group on Thursday morning provided 130 free servings of meal for candidates and invigilators at a venue of national senior high school graduation exam set at the Vo Chi Cong Senior High School. It is known that a total of 41 primary and secondary COVID contacts are taking tests at a special exam venue with 12 rooms at this school. They are arranged to sit in different rooms with no more than 12 candidates per exam room. |
