Store offers free food and essentials for pre-school teachers in Da Nang amid COVID crisis
The Not Nhac Xanh (Green Music Notes) Pre-school located in Hoa Khanh Bac Ward, Lien Chieu District, Da Nang, on Monday morning, organised a so-called ‘zero-dong’ fair for its teaching staff amid the COVID-19 crisis.

On a visit to this special fair, the first of its kind in this shool, teachers could buy any favourite items without payment.
On display at this fair were rice, pork, fish, eggs, vegetables, fruits, cooking oil, fish sauce, instant noodles, and more.
Ms Le Pham Hong Diep, the Chief Executive Officer at The Not Nhac Xanh Pre-school said that the school is closing due to COVID-19, and its employees have been profoundly affected by the pandemic-related disruptions.
“The school is managing to offer a basic salary for its staff during its coronavirus closure. In addition, a focus on timely providing financial support for the school’s employees in difficult circumstances in a bid to help them though challenging times. Moreover, such a so-called ‘zero-dong’ fair will take place in the school twice a month, starting from July. The intention is to provide free food and essential support for the school’s staff during the pandemic to help them ease economic hardships’, Ms Diep remarked.
