Only road users have gone out for getting COVID-19 tests or carrying out their duties during the past 4 days of tougher COVID-19 curbs. The taskforce at checkpoints have pulled over all vehicles, including government agency-owned vehicles, to ask for travel permits from their users in order to keep people off the streets for non-essential activity.

In addition, police and military officers and soldiers have patrolled across the city, including residential settings, to take action against anyone who violates the stay-at-home orders.
