The student hall of residence at 8 Ha Van Tinh, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District is being temporarily turned into a new field hospital for COVID-19 treatment amid the complicated development of the current virus resurgence. After nearly 5 days of working hard in a prompt fashion, dozens of officers and men from the Da Nang Military High Command have basically completed cleanups tasks to make room for the opening of the field hospital. All students staying here have already moved to another one in Ngu Hanh Son District to the east of the city.

This is the city's newest field hospital set up to treat future COVID-19 patients in the city and it will become the third campus of the Da Nang General Hospital.

According to the municipal Department of Health, the new 2,000-patient bed field hospital will meet the compulsory regulations of the Ministry of Health, with emergency rooms for critically ill patients.

According to Captain Phan Minh Vuong, Deputy Head of the Engineer Company under the municipal Military High Command, officers and soldiers participated in the cleanup of the student hall of residence at 8 Ha Van Tinh, Hoa Khanh Nam Ward, Lien Chieu District from August 27 to August 31 to promptly hand over the clean premise for the establishment of the new field hospital.
