17 wards and communes across Da Nang have been classified as green zones. As stipulated the Decision No. 2905 issued by the Da Nang government, some of COVID-19 restrictions have been lifted in green zones since September 5. Residents in the green zone are allowed to go outdoors for exercise within the prescribed time frame, and to shop for food or other essential goods every 5 days. In addition, takeaway food and drink services are permitted to re-open.

Our reporters have observed that authorities in green zones are putting in place proper precautions and tightening controls at these areas in a bid to protect their COVID-19 free areas with their strong determination.
