Repatriation flight from HCMC lands in Da Nang

The flight VN-9128 operated by Vietnam Airlines carrying nearly 200 Da Nang citizens out of the 406 people who are stranded in Ho Chi Minh City due to the COVID-19 pandemic landed at the Da Nang Airport at noon on Tuesday, October 12.

It is the second time Da Nang has brought home its citizens stranded in HCMC due to COVID-19 pandemic. Da Nang citizens flew home on the Da Nang government- sponsored flight on Tuesday.
The returnees pay for COVID-19 testing, accommodation and meals during their stay in managed isolation or pay for testing while in quarantine at home.
The returnees must comply with the city’s COVID-19 guidelines in order to prevent the spread of the virus.
