Also, artist and sculptor Le Huy Hanh, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang Fine Arts Association, donated 19 of his original posters to the museum.

All the donated artifacts have been stored by painters Vinh Khoa - Vink and Le Huy Hanh for many years, some of which are more than 50 years old.

The donated objects demonstrated the painters’ earnest desire to make a contribution to diversifying the city's artistic heritages.

Also on the same day, an exhibition featuring a collection of original comic drawings created by artist Vinh Khoa - Vink was launched at the museum to mark the Viet Nam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23).

The exhibition features 51 original drawings of comics using iron pens, watercolors and pencils; 12 of his family’s owned drawings in Da Nang and Hue; 20 documents related to the career of painter Vinh Khoa - Vink.

Painter Vinh Khoa - Vink was born and grew up in Da Nang. At the age of 19, he went to study in Belgium and settled there afterwards. Vink's comics have been well known throughout Europe for their quantity, quality and style.

He is famous for his comic series about the Fairy Tales of Viet Nam, Derrière la haie de bambous (The Green Bamboo Shelter), the 1000-year-old city of Liège, and the Le Moine Fou (The Mad Monk).

The exhibition runs until December 3.
