Spring in Sin Ho District in the northern Vietnamese province of Lai Chau is always highly attractive to tourists near and far not only because of its majestic natural scenery but also the rich cultural identity of many ethnic minority groups here.

The Sin Ho Plateau, located at an altitude of more than 1,500m, has a cool climate in the springtime. It is dubbed as ‘the second Sa Pa’ of the northwest region with villages lying on the mountainside. Ethnic groups in Sin Ho are mostly Thai and Mong, whilst the rest are Kinh, Dao, Lu, Khang and Kho Mu.

Let’s explore the beauty of this venue through stunning photos themed ‘Welcoming in Tet in Sin Ho’ captured by our freelance photographer Phi Long.
