In late April and early May, plums start to grow in Son La Province’s Moc Chau District.

The Na Ka Valley is one of the largest plum’s growing areas in Moc Chau District with more than 100 hectares of plums. It is selected as home of the annual fruit harvest festival.

Visitors to the festival will have a chance to participate in several activities such as plum picking contest, plum tasting, cooking, and some folk games. Through these activities, the festival created a chance for plum growers to exchange experience.

Below are some amazing photos of the exciting plum-picking festival captured by our freelance photographer Nguyen Huu Thanh.
