A yellow apricot tree estimated to be over 90 years old is being sold for over VND2 billion at the ongoing Spring Flower Market which is taking place at Da Nang’s Tien Son Sports Arena.

The ancient yellow apricot tree is owned by Mr. Nguyen Di, hailing from Dien Ngoc Ward, Dien Ban Town, Quang Nam Province. He bought this tree from an old man living in Quang Nam Province’s Tien Phuoc District 3 years ago for VND900 million. This is the first time he has put the tree on display in Da Nang.

The giant 5-petaled yellow apricot tree draws much attention of many people thanks to its massiveness, and its natural size and shape.

In addition to Mr. Di's giant yellow apricot tree, there are many other yellow apricot trees from Binh Dinh and Quang Ngai provinces with many sizes and shapes which are on display and offered at the prices ranging from VND3 million to more than VND250 million.

Mr. Di's yellow apricot tree is about 6 meters tall and over 90 years old.
