The iconic Han River in the central Vietnamese city of Da Nang is even more gorgeous at night when the sparkling lights of streets, bridges or high-rise buildings are turned on.
Let’s admire the magical and splendid beauty of the river at night through a series of photos captured by our freelance photographer Doan Ngoc Thinh from Da Nang.
The Han River Bridge is considered as the symbol and the great pride of Da Nang. The swing bridge, the first of its kind in Viet Nam, was designed and constructed by Vietnamese engineers and workers in two years. |
The Dragon Bridge is designed in the shape of a dragon, the symbol of prosperity in Vietnamese culture. Over recent years, the weekend shows of fire breathing and water squirting at the eastern end of the bridge have drawn much attention from tourists at both home and abroad. |

Possessing an impressive sail shape reaching out to the ocean and somewhat strange compared to the designs of other bridges in Viet Nam, the Tran Thi Ly Bridge has its own style. |
