In recent days, the Bach Dang walking street along the Han River in Da Nang’s Hai Chau District has urgently undergone construction in a bid to ensure on-schedule progress, meeting the experience and check-in needs of people and tourists.

Bach Dang walking street is located in a prime location, making it convenient for domestic and international tourists to experience entertainment, check-in, and dining activities

The Da Nang People's Committee has agreed and assigned Hai Chau District People's Committee to implement a plan to pilot Bach Dang walking street with operating hours from 3:00pm to midnight daily.

Under the pilot plan, the space of the walking street is located on a section of the extended Bach Dang route between its intersection with the Dragon Bridge and the Tran Thi Ly Bridge with a length of 1.2km connecting to Nguyen Van Troi Bridge.

These days, construction units are rushing to complete items to soon put the Bach Dang walking street along the Han River into operation in early June 2024 as expected.

Once completed, the walking street will have 3 clusters of mobile sales kiosks (each cluster of 4 kiosks) on the entire sidewalk on the east side of Bach Dang Street. The kiosks will use 6m-long, 2.5m-wide containers invested and decorated by the business households themselves. At the same time, there will be 5 clusters of mobile sales vehicles with 15 vehicles in total on the east lane of Bach Dang Street, with vehicle positions alternating with kiosks.
