Located in An Cu Commune, Tuy An District, the Phu Tan sedge mat weaving village is one of the traditional craft ones with over 100 years of history in Phu Yen Province.

When visiting this village, visitors can smell the faint aroma of freshly harvested sedge mixed with the scent of dye throughout the small alleys. The village has preserved the traditional hand-weaving techniques, though in recent years, machinery has been added to increase production to meet market demands.

Let’s visit the Phu Tan sedge mat weaving village through a series of photos captured by our freelance photographer Trung Dao from Da Nang.
