Da Nang and the Czech Republic want to boost bilateral cooperation
During his meeting on Tuesday with the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Vo Duy Khuong, the Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Viet Nam, Mr Martin Klepetko, said that the bilateral trading cooperation between Da Nang and the Czech Republic in recent years has been lower than expected. The Czech diplomat added that Da Nang and his country have not yet fully tapped their potential and strengths.
The visiting guest vowed to do his utmost to encourage more Czech businesses to invest in Da Nang because of its impressive socio-economic development indicators and modern urban infrastructure.

Vice Chairman Khuong applauded the visit by the Ambassador, and briefed his guest on the city's socio-economic achievements over recent years, along with its future development strategies.
The city leader said that he would like the Ambassador to encourage even more Czech companies to invest in those local projects which are seeking FDI.
Vice Chairman Khuong and the Czech Ambassador agreed to hold economic seminars for Da Nang and Czech businesses in the near future. These will provide opportunities for them to meet and sign cooperative agreements.
