Beloved Hoang Sa archipelago
After Da Nang was recognised as a centrally governed city in 1997, the authorities of the city and the Hoang Sa (Paracel) Islands District have attached great importance to the State’s management of the islands over the past 16 years. The following activities prove that the Hoang Sa archipelago is an integral part of Viet Nam, and is under the administrative management of the city:
During the period, the Hoang Sa Islands District has been one of the city’s election units, and a list of the district’s National Assembly (NA) deputies has been widely announced in accordance with the laws on the Election of NA Deputies.
