During a reception on Monday for the Deputy Chairman of the Yaroslavl regional Duma, Mr Evgeny Zayashnikov, the Da Nang People’s Council (PC) Vice Chairman, Mr Huynh Nghia, expressed his wish that Da Nang and Yaroslavl Province would sign a Memorandum of Understanding as soon as possible to enhance bilateral cooperation.

The city leader promised that Da Nang’s local authorities would create even more favourable conditions for Russian businesses to invest and operate effectively in the city.

Mr Zayashnikov thanked the city’s leaders for their warm welcome, and expressed his delight at the development of good relations between Yaroslavl Province and Da Nang.

The visiting guest said he hoped that his province and Da Nang would further boost their bilateral cooperation in education, culture, sports, tourism and other aspects.

Da Nang entered into an economic and trade cooperation agreement with Yaroslavl Province on 29 July 1999.

To date, high-ranking officials and businesses from the 2 localities have made numerous exchange visits to promote bilateral cooperation in import and export activities, investment, tourism, culture and technology, human resource training, and other aspects.
