On Wednesday, the Laos Consul General, Mr Vansa Launhiada and his wife paid a visit to the Da Nang Border Guard High Command to bid farewell at the end of his tenure in the city.  The Consul General thanked the local border guard for their active support of the Lao Consulate in the past. 

The Political Commissar of the local Border Guard High Command, Colonel Nguyen Van Duc, praised the Lao diplomat for his great efforts to strengthen the bilateral ties between the Lao Consulate and his High Command.  The Colonel wished the Consul General every success in his new position.
