The 7^th session of the Da Nang People’s Council (PC) for the 2011 - 2016 term is taking place at the municipal People’s Committee Meeting Hall from 9 - 11 July.

The agenda items will focus on reviewing the city’s socio-economic development as well as security and defence situations over the last 6 months, along with identifying the key tasks for the remaining months of this year.  The participants will also be briefed on the answers to questions raised by local voters at the 5^th session of the local PC.  In addition, the municipal Fatherland Front Committee will present a report on its involvement in government building work over the past 6 months, and the opinions raised by local voters.

In addition, votes of confidence will be cast for 16 city leaders elected by the municipal PC, and then the results of the voting will be widely announced.
