On Thursday, the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, played host to the General Prosecutor of Cambodia’s Supreme Court, Ms Chea Leang.

The visiting guest said that the purpose of her visit was to strengthen the bilateral friendly relationship between her country and Viet Nam.  She also said she hoped that her Supreme Court and the city’s People's Procuracy would further promote the existing bilateral cooperation in trans-national crime prevention, judge training and other aspects.

Vice Chairman Viet applauded the visit by the Cambodian General Prosecutor, and briefed his guest on the city’s rapid growth over recent years. 

The city leader expressed his hope that the Cambodian Supreme Court and the local People's Procuracy would hold many exchange meetings for their employees, officials and prosecutors in the near future in order to share adjudicating experiences.
