During his meeting on Wednesday with the Da Nang People's Committee (PC) Chairman, Mr Van Huu Chien, the Chairman of Singapore’s KinderWorld Education Group, Mr Ricky Tan, said that his group was keenly interest in Da Nang due to its good investment climate.

The visiting guest said that his group wants to build an international standard university and a centre for organising extra-curricular activities for pupils.  He also hoped that bilateral cooperation would focus on improving the English skills of teachers and employees of the local agencies and departments, as well as enhancing the professional skills of staff working in hotels and resorts.

Chairman Chien introduced his guest to Da Nang’s future development strategies which focus on promoting the development of tourism, trade, services, and high-tech industries, as well as the training of high quality human resources. 

The city leader pledged to assist the implementation of the group’s projects in the city.
