Boosting educational cooperation between Da Nang and Queensland
On Tuesday, the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Nguyen Xuan Anh, held a reception for leaders from Australia’s Queensland State, and representatives from some of the state’s universities.
The Australian Deputy Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City, Mr Sean Riley, remarked that the purpose of the visit was to enhance the bilateral educational cooperation between his locality and Da Nang, and their universities in particular. The focus will be on granting more scholarships from the Queensland government for participants of the Da Nang High-quality Human Resources Development Project (Project No 922). In addition, many meetings and exchanges between Da Nang and Queensland universities will be held to seek cooperative opportunities.
