Chairman of the Cambodian National Assembly (NA) Heng Samrin will lead a delegation from the Cambodian legislature to pay an official visit to Viet Nam  from January 4-5.

The visit will be made at the invitation of Vietnamese NA Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung, the NA’s Committee on Foreign Affairs announced on January 2.

During the visit, Chairman Heng Samrin, who is also President of the National Council of the Solidarity Front for the Development of the Cambodian Motherland, and the Cambodian delegation will attend a ceremony to mark the 35 th anniversary of the victory of the southwest border defence war and the joint victory of Viet Nam  and Cambodia over the Khmer Rouge genocidal regime (January 7).
