On Thursday afternoon a group of representatives from the Port of Kawasaki in Japan, led by Chairman Ogawa of the Kawasaki City International Association, paid a visit to Da Nang.  The visit aimed to mark the 20^th anniversary of the establishment of bilateral relations between the Da Nang and Kawasaki ports.

On behalf of the city’s leaders, the Vice Chairwoman of the municipal Union of Friendship Organisations, Mrs Le Thi Nhu Hong, spoke highly about the visit of Japanese guests to the city.  She expressed her desire that the strong development of bilateral ties between the Da Nang and Kawasaki ports would help to boost the friendly relationships between the two cities.

Chairman Ogawa said that the dynamic growth of Da Nang had left a deep impression on him during his first visit to the city.  He remarked that the Da Nang and Kawasaki ports share many similarities in their development, and added that this would help to further strengthen bilateral ties between his city and Da Nang.
