Nhan Dan Online - Construction of a memorial house in honour of President Ho Chi Minh began on March 17 on the K9 - Da Chong historical site in Ba Vi District, Ha Noi.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said the memorial house will hold historical and political significance and introduce visitors to the revolutionary life of President Ho Chi Minh, as well as his contributions to the revolutionary cause of the nation.

The Deputy PM also asked the Ministry of Defence, along with relevant ministries and agencies, to work closely with the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board to preserve relics relating to President Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionary life. He also asked that they co-operate to promote the study of and adherence to President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example.

The memorial house is expected to be completed on May 19, 2015 to mark the 125^th anniversary of the birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19).
