On Thursday, the Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, warmly received a group of leaders and businesspeople from China’s Shandong Province, led by the Deputy General Manager of the Shandong Aviation Group (SAG).  The purpose of their visit was to seek investment opportunities in Da Nang.

The visiting guest expressed his delight at the fine development of the bilateral cooperation between his province and Da Nang over recent years.  He noted that his province would give top priority to granting scholarships to Da Nang's students in the future, and to inviting some local teenagers to participate in the province’s annual international camp.

SAG’s Deputy General Manager asked the city’s relevant agencies to work closely with his province to promote the opening of new direct flights between Da Nang and Shandong Province in the near future.  He also said that he would like the city’s authorities to make every effort to promote the bilateral cooperative relations, and to focus on introducing the city’s tourism potential and advantages to his province.

He also took the opportunity to invite Da Nang’s leaders and businesspeople to visit Shandong Province to learn more about its investment climate.  Vice Chairman Viet accepted his invitation with pleasure, and promised that a delegation from Da Nang would visit Shandong Province very soon.

Mr Viet hoped that the bilateral cooperative relationship between Da Nang and Shandong Province would be further strengthened.  He added that the local authorities would create very favourable conditions for Da Nang and Shandong businesses to cooperate and develop their business in many aspects, especially tourism.
