Following a recent decision by the Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Mr Van Huu Chien, about appointing key officials for the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department’s present Deputy Director, Mr Tran Van Son (born in 1961), has been promoted to Director.  The Manager of the Basic Construction Office of the Department, Mr Tran Phuoc Son (born in 1972), has  been appointed as the Deputy Director.
