Chairman Chien delivering his review |
The municipal People's Committee Chairman, Mr Van Huu Chien, urged local relevant agencies to do their utmost to fulfil the city’s economic and social targets by the end of this year.
Top priority should be given to completing a draft plan on building specific mechanisms for Da Nang and submitting it to the government. Special attention should be paid to preparing for the forthcoming session of the city’s People’s Council, which will open later this year. A further focus will be on fulfilling promises made to local voters in previous sessions.
The emphasis should be on ensuring the progress, quality and aesthetics of the city’s key projects. The Department of Construction was urged to direct its construction units to complete the asphalting of some roads before the rainy season arrives. Measures will be taken to deal strictly with 51 violations regarding the illegal sale of apartments.
