Yang expressed China’s desire to implement bilateral agreements reached between senior leaders in the past.

The host, on his part, reiterated Viet Nam’s consistent policy of developing friendship and healthy cooperation with China for the mutual benefit.

Speaking highly of the outcomes of the committee’s meeting, the Party leader asked the committee to continue its work on the improvement of the bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership.

On the occasion, he also congratulated the Communist Party of China (CPC) on the recent success of its fourth conference, saying that he firmly believes the Chinese people will reap numerous rewards under the leadership of the CPC.
