Following recent approval by the Da Nang People’s Committee (PC), a municipal Citizen Reception Board was officially established on Tuesday.

The Board has been restructured from the citizen reception division of the municipal PC Office.  Located at 31 Tran Phu Street in Hai Chau District, the Board is under the management of the municipal PC Office.  It has its own seal and operates in accordance with the Vietnamese Law on Reception of Citizens. 

The Board is responsible for assisting the city’s PC in arranging appointments with local residents.  In addition, the unit is in charge of collecting complaints and denunciations from locals, as well as giving its suggestions to the city’s relevant agencies about dealing with these petitions in line with the Vietnamese laws on citizen reception, complaints and denunciation settlement.

The Deputy Chief of Staff of the municipal PC Office, Mr Nguyen Hoai Nam, was appointed the Head of the Board, whilst the Head of the former citizen reception division, Mr Nguyen The Tien, was assigned to the post of Deputy Head of the Board.
