On Tuesday morning, some of Da Nang’s leaders paid a Christmas visit to local Christian dignitaries at the office of the Diocese of Da Nang.  The delegation was led by municipal Party Committee Secretary Mr Tran Tho who wished the religious dignitaries and followers a happy and peaceful Christmas.  He gave high praise to the local Christian followers for their remarkable contributions to the city’s progress in 2014.

In addition, Mr Tho said he hoped that Bishop Chau Ngoc Tri of the Diocese would encourage the dignitaries and followers to strictly comply with the Party's guidelines and the State's policies and laws, as well as participate in the “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Lifestyle and Ensure a Good Secular and Religious Life” campaign.  He also asked them to join efforts with other local residents to help the city fulfil its comprehensive development targets in order to improve the spiritual and material lives of all local residents.
