Last Saturday, the Da Nang Committee for Catholic Solidarity held a get-together for its own members and district-level branch members, along with leaders of the municipal Party Committee's Mass Mobilisation Commission and the local Fatherland Front Committee, to wish them a happy and peaceful Christmas and New Year.

The Chairman of the municipal Committee for Catholic Solidarity, Priest Nguyen Hung, thanked the committee members at both municipal and district levels for encouraging local Catholic followers to participate in the “All People Unite to Build a Cultural Lifestyle and Ensure a Good Secular and Religious Life” campaign.  The priest also spoke highly of their active involvement in city campaigns launched by the local Fatherland Front Committee, as well as their significant contributions to the city’s progress. 

Also at the event, the Da Nang Committee for Catholic Solidarity received the country's leading emulation flag in 2014 from the Viet Nam Committee for Catholic Solidarity.
