On Tuesday, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Council, Mr Huynh Nghia, warmly received the Russian Consul General in Da Nang, Mr Valentin M Dikushin, who was visiting to extend Tet wishes to the city’s leaders.

The host and his guest remarked that the Viet Nam-Russia strategic partnership was developed on the basis of their traditional bilateral friendship.  Therefore, the Da Nang’s authorities and the city’s Consulate General of Russia should jointly deepen bilateral cooperative relations between the city and Russian localities.  Every effort will be made to effectively implement the bilateral cooperation agreement which was signed last year with Yaroslav Province.

During his talks with the Laos Consul General in Da Nang, Mr Phommaseng Khamsene, Vice Chairman Nghia briefed his guest on the city's socio-economic achievements in 2014 and its orientations in 2015.  The city leader pledged that importance is always attached to expanding the bilateral cooperation with Laotian localities in order to deepen the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos.
